Your Responsibilities
As a Software Test Automation Engineer at Friday, you will help us shape our digital products and utilize our state-of-art technology stack to disrupt – an old-school Industry.

  • Take ownership of our test strategy comprising automated tests, CI/CD infrastructure, and QA processes
  • Be an advocate for quality and drive improvements to the quality of our frontend and backend applications
  • You will develop the testing frameworks, the product teams will use that
  • You will select tools & methods, and look after the test documentation and infrastructure
Your ideal background and skillset
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in designing and executing automated tests ✔
  • Comfortable with researching new frameworks, and challenging current architecture ✔
  • Automation development experience with Java/Kotlin, Javascript or Typescript ✔
  • You feel comfortable using CI/CD tools, (Gitlab CI,), AWS or Kubernetes experience is a plus! ✔
  • Good knowledge of at least one testing framework (Selenium WebDriver is an advantage) ✔
  • Love getting things done! ✔

  • You will take ownership of our test strategy comprising both manual and automated tests
  • You will work closely with product management verifying user stories and requirements
  • You will be an advocate for quality and drive improvements to the quality of our frontend and backend applications
  • You will develop and run regression, performance tests, coordinate penetration tests and from time to time manual test system functionalities
  • You will select tools and methods and look after the test documentation and infrastructure

  • Passionate about test automation and test-driven development
  • Bug detection abilities and good analysis to root cause detection
  • Self learner and independent

  • Experience working with Selenium - Advantage
  • Experienced in Python, Groovy, Java or other JVM language – Advantage
