Business Analyst - Finance (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst - Finance at FRIDAY you will help us to find the best technical solutions to optimize accounting and Finance processes.
You will be a key player participating in building new and extending existing products in the leading insurance technology of tomorrow.

Your responsibilities:
 
  • Work with relevant stakeholders in Finance team to understand their requirements, and analyze financial data streams and processes 
  • Clarify, research, and structure business demands from internal and external stakeholders
  • Find and drive out the best-possible technical solutions for business problems
  • Cooperation with multiple internal and external stakeholders on designing an end-to-end business process and then being part of its implementation is what you strive for
  • Being familiar with the insurance industry, you enjoy preparing user stories in cooperation with a Product Owner, while continuously working on our product development
  • You will work in a scrum team - here, scrum is used as a method, not as a buzzword
Your ideal background and skillset
  • You have 5+ years of relevant professional experience, of which 1+ as a business analyst in Finance domain projects
  • You have a good technical understanding as well of the customers' needs
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • You communicate confidently in English
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting is an advantage
  • Experience working in a Scrum team is an advantage
  • Background in the insurance sector is an advantage
